Phoenix RDR 2026

Frequently asked questions

What is included with registration?

Weekend beverages; Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast for host-hotel guests, lunch, and dinner; Sunday breakfast for host-hotel guests; all trails and scheduled weekend events; parties, the Shot Crawl, the Talentless Show, event goodies, and a contribution to charity.

Which charities does registration support?

Phoenix RDR 2026 supports United Food Bank and A New Leaf, two Arizona organizations serving local families and communities.

I bought an extra registration or had a payment problem. What should I do?

Registrations are not refundable, but the organizers can help investigate duplicate purchases or payment problems. Submit a support request for help.

Can I transfer my registration?

Yes. You are responsible for finding the person who will take it. Once you do, submit a support request with your information and the replacement attendee’s information.

Do I have to wear a red dress?

It is not mandatory, but it is strongly encouraged—red dresses are the tradition and the reason for the run.

Do I have to run?

No. The main event includes walker and runner options, and attendees who prefer not to do trail can still participate in the weekend.

Can I attend only the parties?

You can choose which activities to attend, but registration covers the entire weekend rather than individual parties.

Are there events outside the main weekend?

Yes. The official event runs Thursday through Sunday, with bonus activities planned for early arrivals on Wednesday and people staying through Monday.

Where do the weekend activities happen?

The host hotel is the center of the weekend. Trails begin there, and the parties and Shot Crawl take place there, so event transportation should not be necessary.

What should I bring?

Bring a red dress, red lingerie for the Friday shot crawl, comfortable shoes, identification, a reusable water bottle, and whatever helps you enjoy a hot Phoenix weekend responsibly.

Will it be hot?

Yes—plan for Phoenix heat. Hydrate, use the pool when appropriate, pace yourself, watch for signs of heat illness, and speak up if you or someone else needs help.

Where is the event being held?

The host property is Holiday Inn & Suites Phoenix-Mesa/Chandler. Phoenix RDR has arranged a full-property takeover for the weekend.

Why does the regular hotel website show unavailable dates?

The Phoenix RDR room block must be booked through the hotel link on the Phoenix RDR website. The normal hotel booking page will not show rooms reserved for the group.

Why does the hotel link show a six-night stay?

The group link initially shows the full Wednesday-through-Tuesday room block. After opening that link, change the arrival and departure dates to the nights you actually need.

When should I reserve my hotel room?

As soon as possible. The full-property takeover gives the event a limited number of rooms, and the group block may fill.

Do I have to stay at the host hotel?

No, but nearly everything happens at or near the host hotel. Staying elsewhere may mean extra travel and missing parts of the weekend.

Can I use a registration from the 2020 event?

No. The event originally planned for 2020 was eventually held in 2024. Phoenix RDR 2026 is a separate event run by a new organizing team that does not control previous registrations.
